Today I was at mass, and there was a man in front of me with the most beautifully, shiny, bald head I've ever seen. I mean, it was just so shiny. It reminded me of when I was little and at church, sitting up in the choir loft with my family. I remember whispering to my mom, saying I'm bored and she told me to count all the bald heads I saw on the main floor of the church. Coincidentally, that was what I had already been doing to entertain myself! Like mother, like daughter. Today I also got to pet a freshly-shaved head. Erica's sister, Jessica, just shaved her head for the St. Baldrick's Foundation to raise money for children's cancer research. She looks so cute and her hair is so soft!
