Today I STUMBLED across this page. It's a community art project, organized by a woman named Candy Chang. She turned the side of an abandoned building into a chalkboard where the residents "can write on the wall and remember what is important to them in life." This building just happens to be in NOLA, where I was on my service trip last week. Before I realized that's the city it was in, I thought, wow. I feel connection to this place. Then I realized it was in New Orleans. LOVE THAT CITY. Anyway, I love community art projects and you should really check it out.
